Maninderpal Sahota: Biography Babylon 2008

Project Title: LOOKING FOR LOVE

Maninderpal has worked on high profile television documentaries for the last ten years. He recently directed "The Trouble with Gay Men: A Polemic"for BBC Television, which achieved critical acclaim and was short-listed for a Grierson Trust Award.

Maninderpal has recently completed his first drama project, "Best Mates", a short film, which he wrote and directed, having won a production funding award from the UK Film Council. The film premiered at the London Film Festival, and has screened at several major international film festivals.

Maninderpal is currently directing a documentary for Channel 4 about immigration.

In 2008 he plans to direct his second short "Tea With Mum" as a precursor to his feature project "Looking for Love" with producer Kelly Broad.
