Project Title: IN THE EYES OF JOANA/NEGLI OCHI DI JOANA

Piero Passatore is an actor, director, screenwriter, story editor, and is a first time producer on the feature film "En Los Ojos de Joana". Piero is Italian by birth and heritage but considers himself a citizen of the world, having lived and studied abroad in New York City, New York State, London, England, and Hawaii for 18 years. He had been editor in chief of both of his high school's newspapers and won various scholarships to study journalism before changing his major to film. He received a Bachelors of Science with a dual concentration in Film and Theater Studies from the City University of New York. During those years Piero acted in numerous student and semi-professional short films and college theater productions, worked regularly on large film and television sets as an extra, worked as a film and theater critic for both The Brooklyn College Kingsman and The Hunter College Envoy, and directed Più Grande, an original theater comedy written by Angela Rago for the Italian American Community.

Piero then moved back to his native city of Torino, Italy and went on enroll himself in a Master of Arts program in American Studies, acted in three feature films including the part of the protagonist in The Etruscan Mask, wrote, directed, and edited two music videos, Progetto 999 and Lonesome Blues, and wrote and co-wrote several short and feature films which he is preparing either to direct or produce.
