Sibel Altinbas: Biography

Project Title: SLIDE SHOW

Born as a Turkish girl in a workers family in Enschede, the Netherlands, I experienced both the positive and negative effects of living in a multicultural environment. Growing up with tales of far relatives and past times created a passion in me for stories. As a student I discovered the world of theatre, and also imagination. I left my academic pursuits for what it is and started to follow my inspiration. This led me to film. In my projects I want to combine magical storytelling and the ordinary, day-to-day life.
