Aldo Paternostro: Biography

Project Title: SILVERTOWN
Aldo is an award-winning Colombian-born director based in London. Aldo has completed two short films – Silence and Lover. Silence is a contemplation on how the absence of words affects a couple's relationship. The film was co- written, directed and edited by Aldo. It was nominated for best short at the Sacramento International Film Festival in 2008. It was also screened at the Boston Film Festival, Short Circuit in New York City, Filmstock International Festival and Portobello Film Festival in London. Lover is Aldo's second film and won the President Award at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. It was also in the official selection for the 50th Cartagena International Film Festival. In 2010 Aldo finished his first feature script – Silvertown – a thriller exploring the murky world of illegal marriages in London.
