Senad Halilbasic: Biography

Project Title: TURBO
Senad Halilbasic works as a writer and producer. FATALIS, a feature film which he wrote and co-produced won the Accolade Award for Excellence in Film Making 2012. His latest work as a producer, ONE SONG by Catalina Molina, won the Best Short Film Award at the Diagonale 2012.
As a writer he is currently working on two feature film screenplays for various Austrian production companies. In addition to his academic studies of theatre and film history he also constantly works in Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia on various cultutral projects. His recent works include the radio feature documentary "Burning Memory – the dead books of Sarajevo" (WDR/RBB) as well as the book "Library Sarajevo – Literal Survey of a City" (Goethe Institute Bosnia & Herzegovina), to be published in autumn 2012.
Since 2010 he works for the production company Witcraft Szenario OG (Vienna) as a development and market researcher as well as a coordinator of the script-development-program DIVERSE GESCHICHTEN.
