Antoine Delelis: Biography
Antoine Delelis has worked for more than ten years as a technician in the feature film industry, performing many different functions including logistics, electrician, assistant-director and editor.
Notably, he was Jean-Pierre Mocky’s first assistant and editor on eighteen of his feature films, twenty episodes of his series « Myster Mocky presents » and three short stories interpreted by Gérard Depardieu, a collaboration which enabled him to work with some of the most famous actors such as Michel Serrault, Michel Galabru, Gérard Depardieu, Pierre Richard, Richard Bohringer, Michael Lonsdale and Michel Piccoli. This was a collaboration which gave Antoine an extraordinarily accelerated training, working in the “so independent cinema” which requires constant adaptation and resourcefulness.
In 2011 he directed his first short film Frizouille, which won First Prize, Festival of Perpignan-Girona 2011. In 2013, his short film Fumer Tue won the Jury Prize, festival : Les Hérault du Cinéma 2013 and was broadcast in 2015 on France 2. Stornoway (2014) aired on France 2 in 2015, and Arborg (2016), supported by Region Elsass, aired in October 2017, also on France 2. Antoine is now developing his first feature Les Monstres, with Les Films du Tonnerre.
