Fanny Spindler: Biography
Fanny Spindler has been a photojournalist for a number of publications, journals and television stations, including Téléssonne in 2001, and between 2001 and 2006 for various magazines and international journals such as Le Nouvel Observateur Paris, Amina, Die Anschlage, Die Bunte Zeitung, Yasmina, Stories from Montreal, Planète 2 CV and DNA, on the subjects of migration, culture and human rights.
She has worked as production assistant for Les Films de l’Europe and SEPPIA, and has directed video clips, trailers and promotional films for institutions such as the Festival International du Film des Droits de l’Homme de Strasbourg and SEPPIA.
She has been involved in the co-ordination and organisation of various festivals such as Visions du Reel, and in 2010-11 was a programmer in Festival International du Film des Droits de L’Homme de Strasbourg.
From 2013-16 she has authored magazine documentaries for SEPPIA and France 3, as well as acting as assistant director.
From 2015-2017 she has been writing and developing a feature length documentary “Denis Reichle, Emprises de guerre” produced by Gilles Le Mao and Laurence Milon at La Huit production, and Paul Cruchten, Red Lion, Luxembourg.
