Juliette Alfonsi: Biography
After graduating with her BA in German and Romance Studies in Paris in 2009, Juliette Alfonsi was an intern in the editorial department of publisher Klett-Cotta in Stuttgart, and with ARTE in Strasbourg before joining Film- und Fernseh-Labor Ludwigsburg (FFL) in 2011. She was production assistant on the production of “Shifting the Blame” (2012) and is now Head of Development, responsible for script development and dramaturgy as well as company marketing and project acquisition.
Together with Matthias Drescher, she co-wrote the comedy “Schmidt’s Katze” (2015), and the children’s 3D animation feature film “Die Reise des Elefanten Soliman” which won the 2017 German Animation Script Prize in Stuttgart and is currently in financing.
She is co-author of the story “Die Wäscherin/The Laundress” with Matthias Drescher, and dramaturg of the screenplay version by Barbara Anticevic in development with the support of the FFA.
