Pascal Trächslin: Biography

Pascal is a producer and distributor of feature films based in Basel and Zurich.

His feature film credits as producer include “Il mangiatore di pietre”, currently in post-production, “Weg vom Fenster – Leben nach dem Burnout” (2017), “Der Grosse Plan” (2014), “Cloudy Times” (2014) and “The Time of Closure” (2006), and as co-producer “Madonnen” (2007).

He is also the producer of short films “Beatrix” (2015), “Am Galgen” (2008) and “Herbsterwachen” (2007), and TV movies “Charly’s Comegack” (2010) and “Canzun Alpina” (2008).

He has distributed many international films in Switzerland, most recently 2017 Camera D’Or Winner “Jeune Femme” and 2017 Cannes Jury Prize Winner “Loveless”. He was also the Swiss distributor of Fatih Akin’s “Head On”. He is a member of Europa Distribution.

He is developing a number of film projects including Sabina Gröner’s feature script “Stockflecken/Stains”.
